SHIPPING

Each piece is handcrafted to order and made specifically for you. Please allow 3-5 business days for product to be made before dispatch from Australia.

Australian Shipping: Once an item is shipped, we are no longer responsible. We do not refund for packages lost in transit. We are unable to refund or replace stolen packages or any un-retrieved packages that have been confirmed as delivered. However, we will do anything we possibly can to help locate your package and will work with local post authorities.

International Shipping: Important Notes  Duties and taxes are NOT included in the total at check out. 

Our prices are not inclusive of any taxation or customs charges you may be liable for on your packages entry into your country. Please refer to your country's government website for more information.

The Messy Archive is an Australian based company. Throughout your checkout process we offer our local postal service (Australia Post), therefore please use this website to track your item.

Please ensure your delivery address is correct and secure: We are not responsible for items not received due to an incorrect or an incomplete shipping address. Items marked undeliverable due to an incorrect shipping address will be reissued if and when they are received back and will incur a re-shipping fee.

All pieces are made by hand with lots of love, care and time! Please allow 3-5 business days for product to be made before shipment. Pieces may appear differently from the items shown online as all our beads and pearls are all natural and unique.

Lost Packages : If your package gets lost in transit, we will do everything we possibly can to assist you. We are not responsible for packages once proof of delivery is generated. 

RETURNS 

Due to the unique and often one-of-a-kind nature of our materials, all items are final sale.  Due to our made-to-order approach, we do not accept returns.

Our jewellery is delicate and fragile.  We are happy to repair most manufacturing faults. Please e-mail an image of your damaged jewellery to discuss possible options. We repair for free, however postage costs must be paid in full by the buyer.

**Manufacturing faults DO NOT include: broken chain; chipped, cracked or broken pearl, shells or gemstones; general wear and tear including items that have been bent out of shape, twisted and snapped, oxidized or on which the plating is fading. 

CONDITIONS

If you are shipping a faulty item, a refund will be given upon inspection of the item and outgoing postage will be refunded. If you are returning an item for refund or repair, the item MUST be returned in either the original packaging or in a hard case to prevent crushing whilst in the post. Items that are incorrectly packaged and subsequently crushed in postage cannot be replaced. Items that have clearly been worn and damaged either deliberately or by accident are not considered faulty and will not be accepted.

THE EXCEPTION FOR EXCHANGES

If you want to exchange a ring for a different size, please contact us via our email info@shopthemessyarchive.com to request an exchange form. Please subject your email as 'EXCHANGE'
