We had the privilege of spending time and getting to know this angel, and so we thought we'd give the opportunity for you to get to know her too!

How would you describe yourself? And how would you describe your style?

I would describe myself as super independent, creative and quite laid back, I always just go with the flow. I am your standard Libra (don’t get me wrong, I know next to nothing about astrology) but I am incredibly indecisive. My friends hate that about me, but with that, as a Libra I am also super loving, and I prioritise my relationships with people more than anything! I like to push myself out of my comfort zone, try new things, experiment and explore. 

My style really varies - some days I’m wearing my dad's old Levi's with well-worn leather jacket, and the next i'll be in a maxi skirt and a lace tank. Comfort = confidence, I will wear what is most comfortable and flattering (usually staples) and go from there. I love a good baggy jean, singlet and sneaker combo - sambas or a chunky new balance a usually the go. 

I experiment with my accessories which provide my outfits with that bit of flare. I’m a huge fan of the chunky gold jewellery vibe….if you couldn’t already tell. Belts, hats, scarves, bags, you name it, I've tried it. 

Were you always a gold jewellery girl?

I transitioned to a golden girl probably about 2 years ago. Before that, I’d always worn silver! Pretty sure I took one of my sister's gold rings from when she was younger and that started the gold obsession. 

Three things you don’t leave the house without:

Always a homemade iced latte, with honey, you can’t sleep on the honey. My rings, I feel so naked when I forget to put those on. A good old lip liner and gloss combo - they're always in my bag. 

Morning or Night person?

Night! Weirdly enough I am more productive and inspired at night haha. I love a good dinner and drinks, or a movie night!

A classic mojito - I’m a simple gal. 

How did you come up with the names of your jewellery pieces

I named them after my favourite/most treasured places in the world. 

My main motivator has always been holidays/travel. The reason I work so hard is to make these memories and earn these experiences! I grew up extremely lucky, with my mum working for an airline and me being the youngest child, I reaped all of those benefits. I was her travel buddy and got to experience the most beautiful destinations throughout my teens. It was really inspiring and motivating to see all of that at such a young age. It really changed my perspective when I started to work full-time. So I named each piece after a special place as a lil reminder.

Favourite part of the Kirralee x TMA process

It would have to be bringing the concept to life! Sourcing and creating ideas about the theme, curating and shooting the content. It was all so much fun. Having my boyfriend shoot most of it was so funny! He actually slayed ngl. Not to mention the TMA team hyping me up, ily. My friends and siblings were such a huge help, it was really sweet to see how much they all support me, feeling very loved and grateful for all of this!

One thing you’d tell your younger self:

God my younger self would be so proud of me! I have been having a few full-circle moments lately, therefore, I would just tell little Kirralee to always live in the moment. That is a big one for me, even to this day I remind myself constantly! Life goes by so fast and you never know what tomorrow holds for you. 

Do you have any goals for 2023?

Definitely, I have written down so many wishes for 2023. I have a lot of travel planned this year, exciting, one of my goals was to solo travel and I’ve just booked a lil trip! Another is to attend fashion week, fingers crossed. And the last one is to grow my relationship with my online community. This industry has led me to meet so many beautiful people, including some of my closest friends, it's wild! So a whole lot more of that would be AMAZING.
